Primary Function and Working Principle

This automatic carton packing machine performs three main functions in one continuous, automated sequence: Case Erection, Packing, and Sealing.

• Stage 1: Case Erection

  1. Magazine Loading: Flat corrugated carton blanks are manually loaded into a magazine or hopper.

  2. Blank Pickup: Suction cups extract a single blank from the magazine and open it into a rectangular shape.

  3. Bottom Flap Folding: The bottom flaps are folded inward (minor flaps first, then major flaps).

  4. Bottom Taping/Searing: The bottom flaps are sealed shut using pressure-sensitive tape or hot melt adhesive. The carton is now a rigid, open-top box ready for loading.

• Stage 2: Automatic Packing

  1. Carton Indexing: The erected carton is indexed into the loading station.

  2. Product Infeed: Products (bottles, pouches, cans, etc.) are conveyed into the machine in a grouped pattern. An automatic product bucket or pusher system then pushes the entire group into the waiting carton.

  3. Dual-Line Operation: The "2X" design means this process happens in parallel for two cartons at once, significantly increasing throughput.

• Stage 3: Top Flap Sealing

  1. Top Flap Folding: After loading, the carton moves to the sealing station where the top flaps are mechanically folded closed.

  2. Taping/Adhesive Application: The top flaps are sealed with tape or adhesive, completing the package.

  3. Discharge: The sealed carton is discharged onto a conveyor for palletizing or shipping.
